This site, http://socolov.worldpress.com, is intended to bring to life my academic work.
I am eager to start this bridge of communication because I invested so much time and effort in it. I never thought of becoming a teacher before. I did my master’s in Communication and I started my PhD in Political Advertising almost by chance. Those who say “you left your country” don’t know anything about me. I did not have many opportunities to publish my work because unfortunately the academic world is not as friendly as one might think. To publish an article takes you forever! It is even more difficult if you write about a small country, such as Moldova, and most of your texts are in Greek. I like Greece! It will be a part of me forever! But I don’t want my research to be only for me, gathering dust in a drawer. Worldpress.com is a good opportunity, though I will need some time to translate my texts into English. I am eager to communicate with anyone who is interested in what I am doing. Be patient, please! It’s worth it! I believe I can do it! There are many reasons “why”.
